3. What data do we collect?
Knob-cloud collects the following data:
- Personal identification information (Name, address, email address, Paypal-Handle) If you agree, we will save specific information used for the license transfer, such as I-Lok account, developer account, telephone number, etc.
- Bought, sold and offered items.
- Messages between buyer and seller.
- Login IP.
- Date and time of Login.
- Volume of bytes sent by user.
- Content that you share with other users through our messaging system.
- Other data that we are required or entitled by applicable law to collect and process and that we need for your authentication or identification, or for the verification of the data we collect.
- Data that is generated as part of your purchases and sales, such as transaction amounts, time and location of transactions and payment methods.
- Your communications with us.
- Computer and connection information, such as statistics regarding your use of services from Knobcloud, information on data traffic to and from websites, referral URL, information on advertisements, your IP address, your access times.
- If you access Knobcloud on a mobile device: Model or device type, operating system and version, browser type and settings, device ID or individual device identifier, advertisement ID, individual device token, and cookie-related data (e.g. cookie ID).
4. How do we collect your data?
You directly provide Knobcloud with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Register online or place an order or an offer for any items sold on our platform.
- Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
- Use the messages system, the save searches system and follow users system, or when you edit, pause or delete an offer.
- Our Company may also receive your data indirectly from Paypal, when you register with Paypal: we receive your name, your address and your Paypal-Handle.
- Our Company also receive your data via Google using the Google Analytics & Google Adsense platforms.
5. How will we use your data?
Our Company collects your data so that we can:
- Document your offers and purchases.
- Let you log into your account.
- Tell you when a new message has arrived.
- Tell you when a product that you are searching has been offered.

6. How do we store your data?
Knobcloud securely stores your data in our servers using advanced one-way encryption algorithms for sensible information like passwords.
Knobcloud will keep the above described information for 2 years. Information regarding what you sold and bought will be stored for 10 years, unless you request to delete it, in which case we will delete all requested information, save open transactios or recent transactions not older than 6 months, because the PayPal-Guarantee expires after 6 months and we don´t want to delete information which may be requested by PayPal. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by by safe erasing it from our database.
Knobcloud also relies on Google Analytics & Google Adsense to securely store your information on Google owned servers.
7. What are your data protection rights?
Knobcloud would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access – You have the right to request Knobcloud for copies of your personal data.
- The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Knobcloud correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Knobcloud to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
- The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Knobcloud erase your personal data. Since the Paypal-Guarantee applies for 180 days, we cannot delete messages and offering or purchasing information of a closed transaction before 180 days after the transaction has been closed.
- The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Knobcloud restrict the processing of your personal data.
- The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Knobcloud processing of your personal data.
- The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Knobcloud transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you.
- If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
